Qing Li is the founder of TriCore Pilates, bringing together more than a decade of experience across yoga, Pilates, movement education, and specialized body training.

Her journey in movement began with yoga and gradually expanded into Classical Pilates, professional handstand training and instruction, prenatal and postnatal Pilates, postural correction, and nutrition. Through years of teaching, practice, and continued study across these disciplines, Qing has developed a comprehensive understanding of how the body moves, adapts, and progresses.

As a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT), E-RYT 500, and Master Coach Trainer, Qing has taught more than 3,000 Pilates sessions, working with clients across different levels, movement backgrounds, and individual needs. Her multidisciplinary training allows her to look beyond individual exercises and understand movement as an integrated system of strength, alignment, control, awareness, and connection.

This perspective became the foundation of TriCore and its three essential principles: Core, Correct, and Connection. Core represents strength from within. Correct reflects precision, alignment, and purposeful movement. Connection is the awareness that brings the body and mind together.

For Qing, these principles extend beyond Pilates. They represent a way of approaching movement—and everyday life—with greater awareness, intention, and control.

Qing’s teaching is detail-oriented, precise, and deeply focused on the effectiveness of each practice. She believes good teaching is not simply about guiding clients through a sequence of exercises. It begins with observation—understanding the individual body in front of you, recognizing what it needs, and knowing how to adapt movement accordingly.

Rather than measuring progress by how many exercises are completed or how advanced a movement appears, Qing emphasizes movement quality, proper technique, body awareness, and meaningful progression. She wants clients to understand not only what they are doing, but why they are doing it, how to perform it more effectively, and how each movement can support their individual needs and long-term development.

This philosophy also shapes her work in Pilates teacher education and mentorship. As a Master Coach Trainer, Qing is increasingly focused on developing thoughtful and knowledgeable instructors who can move beyond simply memorizing exercises. Her approach emphasizes observation, movement analysis, precise cueing, purposeful programming, and the ability to understand and teach the individual body in front of them.

Qing’s expertise also extends into professional handstand training and instruction through the Art of Handstand. As both a dedicated handstand practitioner and coach, she approaches handstands as a discipline in their own right—one that integrates strength, mobility, balance, coordination, proprioception, and precise body control.

Through dedicated handstand classes and workshops, Qing teaches students to build the physical foundations, spatial awareness, and control required for inversion practice, progressing safely and systematically toward more advanced skills. For her, handstand training is not simply about achieving a position—it is another way to understand the body, challenge its boundaries, and discover new possibilities in movement.

Her additional specialization in prenatal and postnatal Pilates, postural correction, and nutrition further supports her whole-body approach to movement. Rather than applying the same method to every person, Qing believes effective practice should respond to the individual—their body, their goals, their stage of life, and the way they move.

For Qing, TriCore is more than a Pilates studio. It is the expression of a movement philosophy and a way of life:

Move with purpose. Practice with precision. Build strength from within. Stay connected to your body.

I am a Pilates coach at TriCore Pilates Studio, with a deep love for Chinese classical dance. My own dance practice has helped me understand how much Pilates can support the body — especially in building core strength, improving muscle awareness, and creating better control in movement.

I believe Pilates is not about chasing the most advanced exercises, but about finding the correct engagement in even the simplest movements. In my classes, I focus on clear guidance, mindful alignment, and repeated practice, helping clients slowly build precise muscle control, body awareness, and confidence in the way they move.

My journey began when Pilates became the key to healing my own chronic lumbar pain. Those life-changing results fueled a deep commitment to the Classical Pilates method and a desire to help others move without limits.

I love working with people of all ages, shapes, and abilities. My approach is supportive and hands-on, with careful attention to form, alignment, and what your body needs that day—so you can feel stronger, move more comfortably, and thrive in the body you have.

Outside the studio, you’ll usually find me hiking with my family, cooking, or working on my latest craft project. I look forward to meeting you and supporting your movement journey.

That discovery is what I love sharing as an instructor. My goal is to create a friendly, comfortable space where everyone can enjoy movement and feel more confident in their own bodies.

Hi, I'm Ivy.

I've been practicing Pilates for over four years, and movement has always been an important part of my life.I believe that different forms of movement complement each other and help us build a stronger, healthier body.

I specialize in helping clients build strength, improve posture, and achieve the toned, balanced look they're looking for through Pilates. While many people begin their Pilates journey with aesthetic goals, I believe that's only one of its many benefits.

As an instructor, I hope to help my clients develop a deeper understanding of movement and their own bodies. Pilates is not just about completing an exercise, it's about building body awareness, body control, and a stronger mind-body connection. These are skills that stay with you beyond the studio.

For me, the greatest value of Pilates is helping people move through life with better posture, greater control, and a body that not only looks good, but functions well every day.
